Hello Cleveland area fountain pen enthusiasts,

Hope your summer is going well! Several items have come up, so I thought I’d share.

First of all, Pelikan Hub registration for 2026 is officially open! This year the event will be held on Friday, September 25. For more information and to register, visit The registration deadline is coming up quickly. You can also register to be a hubmaster, meaning you organize and lead the event. I am registered to attend and can’t wait to enjoy another Hub. The Cleveland Pen Club would be happy to assist the hubmaster in any way we can.

I was recently sent some links to goings on at the Central Ohio Pen Club based in Columbus. Their website is www.centralohiopenclub.org. From what I have heard, they are a larger and older group, and very active. Check them out!

Speaking of Columbus, keep in mind that the Ohio Pen Show will take place this year on December 3-6 at the Marriott Columbus Northwest at 5605 Blazer Parkway in Dublin, Ohio. If you plan to attend, I suggest reserving early by calling the hotel and asking for the discounted pen show rate. I do recommend spending more than one day if you can - shows are always a lot of fun. Coincidentally, the Cleveland Pen Club Facebook group just reminded me that the St. Louis pen show is taking place this weekend. Hope many of you are there!
