Hello Cleveland Pen Club enthusiasts,

Taking a third run at this email. Please excuse this if it is a repeat for you – I had some email woes – but do note the updated email address for the club. Thanks for your patience.

It’s been a minute! The inaugural meeting of the Cleveland Pen Club on January 26 was a great success. Highlights for me personally were meeting and re-meeting great people, and seeing some impressive pens in the wild (I’m looking at you, Pilot Myu). Around 20 people attended and many stayed beyond the allotted time because it was SO much fun!

I think the consensus was that we all very much look forward to the next one. It will take place on April 27, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. I have the same meeting room booked at the Cuyahoga County Public Library Independence Branch, 6361 Selig Dr, Independence, OH. When you arrive, the meeting room is to the left of the front doors. Please put the meeting on your calendar and feel free to share this invitation with other pen people you know.

Exciting news: The Cleveland Pen Club now has its own website, www.clevelandpen.club, and a new email address, clevelandpenclub@clevelandpen.club. This email address reaches me personally. These are the ways to keep in touch moving forward. The website will be kept up-to-date with our meetup schedule, any extracurricular activities we plan, and useful resources.

One such resource is Pen Collectors of America at pencollectorsofamerica.org This great organization was introduced at our January meeting, and all are encouraged to consider membership.

Another resource is the 2025 pen show schedule. This can be found at www.wellappointeddesk. com I plan to attend the 2025 Ohio Pen Show later in the year and hope to be allowed to have a small sign, info flyers, and sign-up sheet for our club somewhere at the show.
